“We no longer treat impotence as a psychological problem.”

Did you get drunk and forget to turn your cliche slogan machine off? “Bootstraps! Meritocracy! Only in America!!!”

Sure, a major Baptist university has been systematically silencing and ignoring sexual assaults on campus, but the REAL problem here is that the woman bringing attention to the problem has insufficiently pure motivations.

The best part of this anthem issue is how it’s revealed some of the weird ideas Americans have been sold by various interests about patriotism and national symbols.

What’s embarrassing is your random nonsense cannon splashing non sequitors all over everything. And when it gets down to it, you don’t even bother denying that the system is racially biased. All you keep repeating is, “It’s equal enough, stop complaining.”

Totally unsurprising. This is just another plank in his 20-year career of promoting honour and respect. Kid Rock and deference to authority are practically synonymous at this point. I'm surprised he hasn't incorporated apple pie into his brand.

Do you guys have a textbook you all go to for these things? Because it’s the same terrible logic and horrible arguments, over and over again.

Amateurs. I guess they don’t follow baseball, because then they’d know that American doping is handled by private industry, not government agencies.

This is awesome. You are hitting all the notes right on cue.

You know how I can really tell that you don’t care about the black community? Because all of your questions have answers. Why the community is the way it is, why recent immigrants are more successful than established black communities - all of it can be explained.

I disagree. When was Val Kilmer’s last fuckable day? Because I’m pretty sure we passed it.

You’re right, you can’t fix stupid.

Such a cynical argument. These brave football players staked out a very non-traditional pro-freedom, pro-justice position. I’m sure somebody, somewhere possibly opposes this; I mean, it’s at least theoretically possible, anyway. So I’m glad somebody said it. Or represented it, or whatever.

If memory serves, he had a friend murdered by gang violence when he was young, and he has a “What about black on black crime” priority as a result.

I’m expecting 100+ from T.J. Houshmandzadeh. He’s due, and healthier than he’s been in a while.

“On a perfect day, I know that I can count on you...”

The roads?

This is such a strange, uniquely American idea. It’s not The Military Anthem. It’s not The Troops Anthem. It’s the National Anthem. It’s for all of the people. It is not profession-specific.

#WellActually he’s a lot more like Rosa Parks than you think.
