I love how the actors grew. By movie 6, I feel the main three were terrific.

Outside of appearing sometimes on HBO, the HP films seem to have a deal with abc famil(ugh…freeform) as they air them A LOT. And they have a yearly marathon

I'm always switching between the two.

I mean Emma Watson became an Ivy League/Oxford graduate/UN Ambassador/feminist. They did well there. And both guys turned out alright too. I think Radecliffe had a drinking problem but I think it more of a binge drinking issue(which makes sense for a kid his age).

"A lot of things are America's shame"…Truer words…

I'm a regular old Max Landis!

I love when this show does big speeches to make their characters' actions believable. It NEVER makes sense but it's always so funny. The Morgan one from last season takes the cake, "If I hadn't kept that wolf in the town, your son would be dead. You're welcome! It's a circle! A CIRCLE!"

Don't you know he makes the best female characters? Rey is a Mary Sue and doesn't hold a handle to any of the complex female characters he's created like: Girlfriend in Chronicle, and Kristen Stewart's girlfriend role in American Ultra or Love interest in Victor Frankenstein.

If CBS throws softballs and doesn't hold him
Accountable for his language, it will tarnish them for good.

Comey move was blatant corruption

American Ultra was good??

Really? I find it pretty blah.

Well consider how flippant the law treats campus rape now, add in the fact they were in a relationship and it was the 90's, it's pretty much not a surprise

It's hard to separate art from the artist when rape is central to the plot

All evidences points to his guilt save for the fact that in 1992, rape in a relationship was considered a non-crime. The whole case wasn't built on his innocence but on the fact that "they had sex before! I can't be rape". Parker said as much in a phone call to the victim.

So many dudes in this movie and the one woman is "badass" and dressed skimpily. Somehow this is less progressive than a 20 year old movie

Awesome article!

I like him too but that really hits the head on why all the previews turn me off. He doesn't disappear into the roles so it always feels like you're watching someone who is "ACTING!!!"

So we should see the movie because only half the people involved in writing the script were convicted of rape?

Do you know why he was acquitted? Do you have any background on the case? He was acquitted because he had sex with the girl before. Pretty much that and they were "drunk" and so it was okay.
