There is no such thing as a “400Z.”

Some of the criticism I’ve seen is centered around the lack of a coupe/2-door liftback option. That would greatly aid in differentiating it from the Civic. Look at the profile, it’s just too ungainly in this layout to be convincingly sporty-looking.

Wow, this is a very cowardly move by Honda/Acura. Disappointed but not shocked that this isn’t a coupe (or 2-door liftback, if you want to be technical).

It could also be that the majority of the people who complain about the lack of power in the 86 are referring to...anything other than track driving. Like, real world, on-the-road usage. I’ve always taken the complaint to be along those lines and the praise of the vehicle to be its approachability on a track.

I mean, if you are looking specifically for a compact sedan that has high accelerative capability, obviously a Model 3 is likely to be a good solution, particularly relative to its gasoline-powered competitors.
