Big House and Black Box are both good boxed wines — but my go-to is the boxed Shiraz that Trader Joe’s sells. I’ve never really cared for 2-buck-Chuck at all, but this stuff is quite tasty… and a terrific value.

Just want 1 glass? What kind of crazy talk is that? Go sit in the corner until you can behave. Oh and what time is dinner?

While box wine has improved greatly, there are quite a few wines in the 84 to 90 point range in the $4-$8 range making many of them as affordable and often better than boxed wine variants. It’s been quite a few years since $15 was the lower limit of acceptable wines. For a lot of wine out there those price points

As in all things, practice makes perfect, so do some role play negotiating with a friend, and then you will feel more confident (which always shows!) going in to the real deal.

This article is correct in so many ways.

Dandelion is a whipper-snapper. There was no Dandelion when I was growing up. We survived.

Signal right (or left, in a country that drives on the left) when you are coming up on your exit.

That’s what I thought too at first. Treat it as an intersection. But it sounds like you’re supposed to treat the circle like its own little road.

Their declining quality has been the biggest deterrent for me since oh, around 2005 or so. I still have a few pieces from the very early aughts that were initially expensive, but continue to serve as classic staples in my wardrobe.

That’s what I’ve been thinking for awhile. Jenna Lyons can pull off a lot of looks that I cannot. Some of it’s body type, some of it’s personality, or just general lifestyle. I thought at first it was great because a lot of the stuff wasn’t the same old and not everything you sell has to be flattering or appropriate

I never shop at J.Crew anymore because of the quality issues. Stuff I bought in the early aughts is still wearable but the last sweater I bought there was a goner a year later.

Good. I dislike cults of personality. All J Crew has been turning out are things she’d like to wear. Which is always unsustainable in the long run. Also, bring back quality folks. I expect something from H&M or Target not to last. But especially at JCrew prices I expect pieces to last.

This wasn’t clearly mentioned, but this seems to be regarding those “decongestant” sprays, like Afrin and alike. As far as I know, actual “allergy” nasal sprays (Nasacort, Flonase, etc.) shouldn’t be a problem, right? Those are meant specifically to treat chronic allergy symptoms, it would be disappointing if these

You get in the shower, you scrub (scrub!) everything down, from head to toe

This definitely has more to do with how certain vehicles are used versus how well built they are.

Does this really measure reliability though? There’s no mention of major repairs or engine/tranny replacements. Anything can run for 200k miles if you throw enough money at it. Well anything except a Fiat anyway.

You're not allowed to use a simple eyebrow razor either, I take it? Maybe try covering some of it with foundation or light colored eyebrow pencil...?
