Ah, the Walloons! There are a lot of French gingers....Isabelle Huppert, the girls in The Returned....

People who know more than I (cosmetics chemists) say that coconut oil is the right size to actually be absorbed by your hair, unlike most other oils.

Yeah, I am a lawyer admitted to practice in three states--my fingerprints are out there anyway. My concern is that the last time I have them taken, they had to be retaken because my fingerprints have worn down!

But for the love of Pete, if you do get one of us to accept, at least actually buy the coffee. I have had several younguns not even buy the coffee in the event.

Yeah, but I haven’t ever had any problem hanging my knit tops—tee-shirt jersey, linen knits, silk jersey, etc., except for those tape knits I hate anyway and some viscose tee-shirt jersey knits from Eilleen Fisher. I use the sweaterhanging hack for cardigans. Unless I fold them perfectly, thinner sweaters get wrinkles

I think it is a flavor of “Lagenlook”—a sort of multi-layered, loose clothing style, from what I understand.

Don’t worry--what’s done is done. You can’t reverse any damage. Just take really good care of your teeth from here on out...

A friend just got diagnosed with dental resorption--her whole lower front line up--eight teeth.....she’s 81, but otherwise not a smoker, etc.

Oh, I remember my middle school years. Etched on my memory. How do I forget them?

I thought all Swedish women dressed in Gudrun Sjoden, and wore their hair in long, thick braids....

The Target brand cucumber mint seltzer!

I doubt it, but have no idea. I live in SC now.

Man, that’s rough! Of course! We have West Nile here in SC, and probably other nasties, too.

Yup, my husband is one of them--he looked over at my red-welted body and asked, “Do they itch?” Miraculously, he survived!

Man, I purposely select powders (and solids) for travel, especially overseas where I cannot be assured of getting sunblock and face products that won’t set off my skin. I save my TSA baggie for skin products, including sunblock, mascara, eyeliner pencil (Stila Smudgestick), eyebrow tinted gel because of some white

Yup, ambivert. People exist along a continuum of introversion/extroversion. It’s not binary. This explains a lot of confusion about introversion—if you were completely introverted, you’d be clinical. Ditto if you were completely extroverted.

I am guessing, since you are Asian, you have a straighter figure, which often means a much longer torso, lower waist. I imagine you would look awesome in Eileen Fisher....

You must be a bit slimmer than I--I am a solidly built German-American—size 16/18. I wear a 11.5 M shoe—Italian shoes are usually too narrow and short, even when they come nominally in my size, and there is no larger size. I haven’t been to Paris since the early 90s, but other than sweaters, it was not easy to find

Of course they are. I googled laundry when I was in Ulm, and found a blog post from an American guy who was living in Ulm, I think temporarily. He said self-serve laundromats are not a German thing, so you either have a laundry facility in your lodgings, or you take them to a service. Or wash them in your hotel
