I think they mostly went once a week, but hairspray was actually lacquer in many cases.

I think you can freeze lipstick or gloss just fine.
Beautypedia has excellent recommendations for inexpensive makeup that works (elf in particular rates highly and shouldn’t set you back more than a tenner for eyeliner and mascara and lipstick.) Lipstick is good for at least a year, especially if you keep it in a cool, dry place. Eye makeup, especially mascara, not so…
Did you actually read my response? I am with my dogs all but perhaps two hours a day, if that. Many days, I spend the entire day with them. They get walked at least an hour, and usually more like two hours. They sleep most of the time.
Does he wear fancy Italian leather loafers? His feet are probably small enough, based on his hand size....
I disagree. Dogs sleep most of the day. I am home now with my weims, and after a vigorous hour plus walk in the morning, they are on the couch most of the time until supper. Especially if you or someone else can come midday, many dogs, especially adult dogs, should be fine, indoors.
I like that, too, but the Cover Girl Clump Crusher edges it out for me, especially in cold weather when my eyes water.
I have fairly sparse, fine lashes. Cover Girl Clump Crusher (the water-resistant kind is my preferred, though the regular goes on more lushly) is perfect. It lasts a whole three months (I change mine with the seasons) without getting flaky, and is cheap enough on Amazon. The spoon-shaped rubber brush is great for…
I am anxious to the core, and I have tried “everything”--therapy (3 out of 4 therapists had serious boundary issues--one helped a ton), SSRIs--tons of side effects, yoga (I pushed way too hard and blew out a tendon)...and here’s what works for me: proper sleep, nutritious, wholesome food (I automate that to macros, as…
Have you considered upping your protein (and reducing carbs a corresponding amount)? It sure helps me with the hunger....
But not the Fireflies one....
Borgen. The travails of the Danish Prime Minister.
Well, I think the original measure for a “cup” of coffee was 5 oz., then maybe 6 oz. The measures on a drip coffeemaker are probably 5-6 oz. A standard mug (the kind that have saying on them, etc.0 is 12 oz.
I am more partial to Bushmills--perhaps the ladieeez choice?
Liver nips. Western Midlands of South Carolina (and shrimp and grits is a Charleston thing, not NC)....
A woman from the Caribbean shared a saying, “Sweet in de goat’s mouth, sour in de bam-bam.”
Yes, I agree and I love my Rowenta. That said, most guys I know (I am a woman) send out their shirts....even so, you have laundry turnaround unless you can do your shirts every weekend or overnight (I think maybe this post is aimed at younger men, many of whom do not have laundry facilities in their apartments—at…
All right. I felt so guilty, we are installing an airline crate in the back seat and the dogs will just have to get used to it.
I don’t understand only five shirts, unless you can get them all laundered overnight over the weekend--is that a New York thing? Otherwise, you are wearing one, and drop the other four off at the cleaners. Four come back--possibly next day. You get three days out of those before you have to take the one you wore…
I work out with a trainer, and have for years. I cannot do half these exercises.
