I’m fairly certain he created a 3-D model and algorithm proving they would hold up to American crash standards. Cutting edge, and incredible expensive stuff at the time. Not that money was ever an object, but that way he wouldn’t have to bring another one over to the US just to crash test it.

Commando (1985): Arrrrnold crashes into a 911. Later he flips it over and there is no damage to the body. Bothers me every time I see it on TV, usually around 2 a.m, on TBS.
