Shinzon! Get off the hood of that beloved w123 euro-spec wagon!
WHOA DUDE! Careful with that edge! I’m gonna be late for work because I cut myself on your EDGE. SO EDGY IT HURTS!
I went looking for the unicorn factory w202 C55 AMG, especially in wagon form. Maybe a handful exist.
You can’t be the son of a rich guy forever!
Yep, not an SUV guy at all, but that SRT8 Cherokee is just insane. Good insane.
Have you considered moving up to MB?
You also can’t escape the stereotype yourself. My father in law used to be a big car guy but grew out of it. He has been disgusted with me for years for driving a C43 AMG. He uses every chance he can get to tell me to get myself into a Toyota.
Can they argue that you clicked “I AGREE” anywhere?
I’m running into a situation with a car that is already here. It’s a 1998 Mercedes C43 AMG a guy bought at an auction. Come to find out it’s a euro model that was SOMEHOW imported without MBUSA or the NHTSA getting involved. It’s been titled and driven in the state of Georgia the entire time but now another guy owns…
I wish. Helping a guy title a 1998 C43 AMG someone imported under some weird clause back in 1997. No OBD. This car might be as good as worthless.
That’s because the picture used for the w203 c-class (the one that appears to have almost no nose overhang) was not taken from the same angle. You can’t even see the headlights, grille, etc. It was taken from a very rear-heavy angle and then digitally adjusted to fit the GIF.
And if it’s anything like the last redesign, they’ll continue to make the first 3 square feet of it look interesting, while the rest will still look like a pregnant Camry.
C36 AMG! My unicorn!
Back in 1999 I took my 1994 Mercedes C280 with 50k miles on it to a "trusted" MB independent shop. I was not DIY. Nothing was wrong with the car outside a leaky sunroof. I told them I figured I'd need a tune-up since the dealership was 300 miles away—oh and to look into that leaky sunroof.
Yep. Don’t let it fool you, though. It was a 100% Chrysler engine. One of the few 4 cylinder engines I respect. I’d give my rightmost testicle for an Omni Turbo.
Hellcat Challenger $59,000 707hp
A C43 can be had seriously cheap right now. 3400 were built, 1100 shipped stateside. Probably in the 4500 to 8000 range for a totally decent specimen with sub-150k miles. C36's seem to have jumped in value lately. Personally, I think the 36 is the more interesting car. Somewhere over 3000 were built, I think 500 made…
287,000 miles on my 1999 C43 AMG. 210,000 miles on my wife's 1998 C43 AMG. They both qualify for the first high mileage award. My 1999 is getting close to the 2nd award.
my his and hers C43 AMG's would disagree.
