I remember when he was hypnotised and given the suggestion to play the tuba or something when one of the other team members said a key word. When the word came up, he just had a confused expression on his face and then burst out laughing, thus proving that you can suggest something to someone under hypnosis but can’t

This fucking year I swear.  You can't catch your breath without something horrible happening.  He was one of my favorite Mythbusters along with Jamie and Kari.  I'll always fondly remember him beating a polygraph test and having this hilarious but still relatable victory breakdown.  Poor guy, rest in peace.

Anyone read Station Eleven? Now that would make a great pandemic movie. In a few years. I started reading it end of March, which was a little scary, but I could not put it down!

Just what everyone really wants to see in a movie theater in the near future.

A high school team in Moorhead, MN (where potatoes are a major product) is called the “Moorhead Spuds” and their logo is an anthropomorphic potato. Which meant that rival cheerleaders would shout things like “Mash those spuds!”

Not the Washington Starship?

“We’re proud to announce our newly named team ... The Washington Lady As!”

They could have kept the name and just change their logo to a potato.

The mohawk guy’s silence is noted as well.

Yeah! Why hasn’t Cory Monteith said a thing?

Holy fuck was "Cheer" in 2020???!? Omg this fuckin year

Picked up the comic. Booker’s French surname is actually LeLivre. Or “the book” in French.

‘What do you like the best about black peoples?’ That reminds me of the time my friend said, seemingly out of nowhere, ‘Man, I hate black people.’ What?!? ‘I mean look at that. They can wear the most ridiculous fit ever and make it look good. Bright ass orange shirt? I could never, but that dude was looking tight.’

My sister, also a doctor, blocked me on facebook and told me I was no longer invited to my nephew’s wedding, because I said trump was an idiot for telling people not to wear masks.  Clearly, there’s a larger problem there, but that was her last straw?

I live in Minnesota. At work, we had a driver from Ontario (we were shipping something to Ontario) who was extremely afraid of Americans and our COVID19. I felt really bad for him, but couldn’t even get my co-workers to follow company policy (wear a mask at all times, except in your personal work area) enough to load

I’m Facebook friends with Rebecca. She’s a libertarian. I report her to FB a lot, but that does nothing. Anyway, I read her feed to learn what the thought process is.

Coincidently, or not, there is also a f-ton of nurses around the country who are outing thrmselves racist twunts, and getting fired.

I’m feeling the Covid-fatigue. Not from having it, mind you, but from hearing about all of these reckless people who have willingly endangered lives even though there are plenty of examples of how NOT to do that.

I’m still doing takeout. This crap is far from over and it looks like it’s going to get worse.
