I was eyeballing a gold SC400 that lives in my neighborhood the other day. Original owner. Even has the gold pack.

Hiya Alex! Great post. Hope you’re doing well.

Only in the northern parts of the northern hemisphere. It’s dead summer in the southern half of the planet and may as well be in the southern half of the northern hemisphere.

I have a last name that requires me to spell it to people all the time. At least I have a super common and easily spelled first name. My brothers gave their kids names that will now require them to spell both their first and last names to other people for the rest of their lives.

Don’t hate us.

The bay is not “nothing but rain”. It is for half the year, but the other half of the year, we don’t even bother with rain dates because it’s simply not going to rain.

Yeah. And it doesn’t rain for six months of the year up here, either, which tends to turn the highways into skating rinks. The oil that east coast rains wash away has been sitting on the road for six months, so it takes a while to wash it all off.

I like your approach.

The 4 way flashers are probably a giveaway.

If you’ve ever wondered why we can’t get fancy magnesium wheels on regular cars, this is why.

I’m thinking that the ideal combo would be a dickpunch, followed by tossing them over your head based on the comments here.

She lives where it snows. So no on the air cooled VW. No heat, no defrost and the valve adjustment interval is too short to support regular use.

They don’t care. I believe their federal funding continues to exceed what they pay into it, so they’re essentially using other states money to go onto state welfare.

I’m old and this thing is working like Viagra.

Well done, sir. I’ll go crawl back under my rock.

I believe that you meant “old fashioned”. It’s a shame one of us colonists had to correct you in what I presume is your native tongue.

We live a long way from any relatives, so we put the cards on our credenza in the dining room, then chuck them after the holidays when we put the tree away and stash the decorations.

You’re right. It doesn’t know what to do on ice because it has no idea the wheels are locked at all. The drivers, however, could have solved the issue by taking their foot off the brake and steering to a better spot to try and brake. This may have also restarted the ABS so if the driver could get at least one track

See comments I’ve left elsewhere about how ABS compares wheel speed to engage. Get them all locked and ABS just thinks you’re stopped and stays out of it.

Because none of those idiots took their foot off the brake. Locked wheel = no steer. Unlocked wheel - even on ice - will steer.
