My PSone has something similar actually, this cool “VZZZZZZH!” sound for the motor that moves the laser. Plus there’s a very quiet “mmmmmmbah!” after I close the disc tray. I had the PSone as a kid and I guess having these sounds back (plus the LCD screen and smaller size) was a reason why I didn’t go for the OG PS1…

You can actually take quite a few by mashing it, but you can’t turn the banner off so you’d have to be VERY sure about your window of opportunity.

There’s a half-second delay between when you hit the button and when the picture is actually taken. There’s also a delay for when the “You took a screenshot!” icon appears; annoyingly this WILL be visible if you happen to take another screenshot while it’s up, and unlike on PS4, you can’t make ‘em invisible. : /
