Ya know, slipping a computer inbetween the modem and the router can provide some fun shaking down of the leechy neighbor. Upsidedownternet, redirecting everything to disney.com, etc.

Is it sad that I can identify my town of 4,000 people in the middle of Kansas just by the little blip of broadband?

Knocked it out in 4 hrs (100% trophy). Folks, it's meant to be a fun little diversion for Halloween, not something you get for the graphics, sound/music, gameplay. I'm going to try to get my wife to play it later today. If I can get her gaming...

Droool...this makes me glad I'm the head projectionist at our little hometown theater.

@Sylar Darko: I used it for a bit, but my wife didn't appreciate my inability to do math early in the morning.

As is mentioned, the formalized CPR certifications still do have the breathing added in. I echo the thoughts that everyone should get CPR certified at least once.

Hi, this is Mary with OnStar. We've received a notification that your car has been in a wreck. Would you like me to post this to your wall, tweet it, or post the video to YouTube? We regret to inform you that as part of your agreement, you must garner 100 'Likes' or comments to your wreck before we can dispatch an

Not only do we play an instrument that reaches 6 feet in front of us...now it has fire!

Let's see:

In my line of work, I do a lot of work on 2 (or 3 or 4) documents at the same time (checklist, few reports, etc.) that I'm always cross referencing. I have 2 screens at work. When I telecommute, I've only got a single screen and it takes me quite a bit longer to do things as I'm always switching between windows.

I was a 4 year RA in a coed dorm with a high percentage of international students. Awesome article. If you're going to live in the dorms, your relationship with your RA can make or break your experience there. I loved being an RA and really enjoyed my residents. You can boil down all the rules to 3 easy ones:

I've done this from the xda site on my Touch Diamond CDMA. Love it. The only unsupported item on my phone now is the camera, everything else works decently. Granted, it is a bit unstable, but since I use Gmail, Gcal a lot, the seamless integration between the two is amazing. My carrier finally picked up it's first

@CaffineFreakUs: Unfortunately, that is the trade off between decent AV and usability — speed. Few loose ideas I've come up with: linux perhaps (can't they mount in read-only?), some sort of hardware reversion system (ie, every reboot, it resets to a pristine system), don't scan the cards, but have a nightly full AV

@CaffineFreakUs: I may be wrong and someone correct me if I am, but wouldn't the custom software that does the image manipulation and printing be the only thing restricted to just *.jpg? When you put the flash drive in, Windows' various subsystems still have to mount the drive. Group Policy in and of itself is meant

I have a few major pet peeves that makes me want to use my EtherKiller.

@Improbable: I second this as an active lifeguard for the last 10 years. Someone who is actively drowning WILL latch on to you. Learning some escapes is useful. Another mnemonic: Suck, Tuck, and Duck: Suck some air in, tuck your head into your chest, and duck under them. Don't be afraid to dig into their armpits

@irfan: @erichg14: So what you're saying is that Police, Lawyers, Judges, Jailers, Corrections Officers, etc. should work for free so that they are doing it to uphold justice instead of being motivated by getting a paycheck?

@TangoTL: Actually the glasses are (should be) boxed up, sent back to RealD, and recycled. The studios/RealD take care of the costs (including shipping).

@kingcrim84: It also won't work because of the way the RealD system works vs. a 3d tv.

Thumbdrive all the way. I do lots of freelance troubleshooting for family and neighbors in town. I usually have a decent stash of utilities/drivers/av & antimalware, etc on it. Sadly, I even use CD's still if a virus infection is likely (yey for read only media). Also the thumbdrive is nice since I don't have to
