@FourInchHeels: They call it a doob tube. I was an RA in college for 4 years, we can still smell pot either way....it's just the "Spring Fresh Pot" smell.
I'm still more of a fan of solar lighting. While it does have the drawbacks of A. Usually only on in the evening and B. require sunlight (or at least a bright cloudy day), I like them better because you don't have to run wires, you can move them to where you want (or if you move), and if they die, you can salvage…
When you start a job with a retirement plan, take the time to read through the materials given to you and ask for more detailed information if you need it.

I got mine a month or two ago. It's an awesome promotion I think. You have the choice of an immediate download or spring a few more bucks and get disks mailed to you (and still be able to download it). This price beats out the Student/Teacher Editions by a landslide.

On it I have the portable versions of Firefox and Pidegon (I also used Tbird portable when I was home over break and then resync'd the mail files with my desktop Tbird install). I also keep some school documents that I'm…
Another good place to find boxes is Walmart. If you stop by there around 2-3am (call the manager for details) when they're restocking the shelves, you can usually score most of the boxes you'll need without spending a dime.
Both here as well. My main machine and my game consoles I wire since they don't move very much, and then my laptop I run wireless. I play games and such and don't like dealing with the occasional lag spike or interference. I have an extra wire hooked behind my desk in case I need to do a big transfer to/from the…
This is my 4th year being a resident assistant in the dorms (I'm a 5th year Senior graduating this May!) and have a few other things to add to the list that have made my (and my residents) life easier.
Another thing that really helps is to have the car clean before you take off (do it as part of the maintenance). It will help the trip start on a high note, make things easier to find and keep organized, and show the person/people you're traveling with that you cared enough to make the ride pleasant for them by them…
