I worked my way through college as a single mother waitress. What planet do you live on that having a PhD means having a trust fund?

Jon Hamm, University of Missouri, Hugh Grant, Oxford, Jaime Camill, Universidad Anáhuac, Alec Baldwin, George Washington U and NYU, Tom Hiddleston, Cambride… And the ones who did drop out (Brad Pitt, Carrie Fisher, Casey Affleck…) dropped out of UNIVERSITY, not high school. Now I, with a university PhD in history,…
Ok, I'll bite: Tracee Ellis Ross, Brown graduate, Rachel Bloom and Donald Glover, NYU graduates, Viola David, Rhode Island College and Julliard, Natalie Portman, Harvard University (in Psychology), want more?
Meryl Streep got an MFA from Yale.
Just to let you know you episode count is off (it seems like someone skipped number 9 and it's been one ahead since then).
She's 75. She wants to look 25. She's going to look scary. As opposed to someone like Madonna who, I think, really believes that she looks 35 now, Charo is just going for broke and for some reason it doesn't bother me.
Just have to say what an enjoyable, playful episode.
Baller Mateo!!!
I know you don't get very many comments but please don't stop covering the show. I enjoy reading the reviews and comments after this great TV experience.
Do you have a link to the article?
Thank you VERY MUCH! Since I have you here and you're clearly on top of stuff, can you answer my big nagging Mad Men question: how did Pete know where Peggy lived at the beginning of Season 1 (when he went to her apartment and impregnated her)?
What did Duck say about Peggy around 7:17? Is he talking about something in the past or suggesting she's no longer at McCann?
Watch the first fifteen minutes of the first episode and you'll know if you're going to like the show. Everyone I've showed it to has become hooked.
Thanks for that info!
I wondered about that, too: wasn't their independence stipulated in their contract?
I must admit I teared up during the pool scene (at the beginning, before it got all sexy). What a great episode. The cherry on the top without a doubt Rogelio's serenade to Jane's baby.
I was wondering that, too.
But the "cure for the common _____" didn't come from Mathis, it came from Jane Sterling's nephew or cousin (or some kind of relative), didn't it? From his derivative lookbook.
Just gotta say: fantastic article and great analysis. Thanks.
Can someone please answer a question I have always had about this episode: How did Pete know where Peggy's apartment was?????????
