Crowds can be such the worst. I’m glad volunteers exist to help clean these things up, but I wish people had more responsibility for their own trash.

Of course it’s exploitative, it’s an aspirational career with a ton of talented, qualified applicants. Most singers and actors in the US can’t support themselves on performing alone, for broadly the same reason. The animation outsource studios in China and Korea are basically sweatshops that make primetime TV instead…

i think the real problem is the pricetag for VR hardware. That’s the main reason i am not involved yet and i spend a whole lot of money on gaming.

Thank god. VR was mostly a scam for VC cash. The headsets were always gonna be out of the price range of the young, poor, Black and brown people coming into gaming. And almost all the games were garbage, shovelware, and/or things that would have been better without VR.
