Er... ok?

Of all the Sims games I’ve tried (all PC ones except Sims 4) my favourite by far is Sims 3. I really love its open world and the endless possibilities that the expansion packs provide. True, I enjoy it a lot more now with a better PC, and all the content that came out over the years than when it released.

I

Something similar happened to my partner, they rejected his visa application based on missing proof that they didn’t actually require. (We could have provided it if they asked for it...) Fortunately we were already living in the UK for years by then, and could drag them to court, where the appeal went through.

Somewhere away from oceans and tectonic lines? That removes most kind of natural hazards.

Eg. in my native Hungary we just get a couple river floods a year, that’s as hazardous as it gets.

Adventure Capitalist was this for me for a couple years, fortunately managed to get out after I got all Steam achievements.

I haven’t had any proper mainstay games until I tried Guild Wars 2 in 2015. I’ve been playing it multiple hours every day ever since. (Ok it took a few months to become my Mainstay, but has been that for 2+ years now.) It simply provides so many kinds of things to do, I usually find something fitting to whatever mood

My glory days MMOs were Ragnarok Online and FlyFF :) Nowadays both feel so horribly grindy and shallow ^^;

I’m endlessly baffled by cis people.

I just keep the save files for pretty much every game I play, so it’s never gone *forever*. But the ones that have been installed for years even if I barely play them any more are Civ 5, Zoo Tycoon 2, Sims 3 and Spore.

I lived in Hungary where blinking the hazard lights is a common way to say thanks / sorry / “you can go first”.

“I’ve had more repairs on this thing can I can count”

I can see a problem

“If I can compliment one thing about Battletoads, twenty-six-and-a-half years later, it’s that the game had guts to make every darn stage a completely different genre of game. What other game does that?”

Spore did that too (albeit it only has 5 stages).

Excellent writing :) I took some weeks to read it all, but it was quite entertaining.

The one I live next to (Loch Lomond, featured in the article) does have a castle as part of the national park. It’s surrounded by lawns and gardens, and the more natural-looking forests with walking paths surround that.

best movie ever :D

good writing, but “bigly”?

“The straights are at it again.”

I loved this sentence 😂

Then they also won’t take the “This is not a drill” part seriously even when it’s a live alert. False alarms desensitize people.

If the article wasn’t continuously insulting the reader, I might have read more than 2 paragraphs of it. Wtf is up with this style?!

“and also maybe try to talk openly about your feelings rather than coding them in the made-up language of a video game”

on point

It’s fucking baffling why some people think it’s okay to touch others’ body without consent O.o
