My boyfriend made Gordon Ramsey's eggs and I thought they were vile. I also like my steak medium-well. Shrug.

I remember frantically searching for a volunteer opportunity junior year since you can't apply to an elite college without it.

PLEASE DO. The series gets stronger and stronger as it progresses, and the final few episodes are absolutely glorious.

It hit a lot of the so-bad-it's-good notes for me. The choreography was stiff and bad. The costume/scene changes were expertly awkward. I loved the shots of the basically-dead writer. The ridiculous "look how wholesome we are!" lyrics for the final song.

Bunheads fans - yay or nay for the musical? I've seen a LOT of gripe about the Stars Hollow Musical, but my guess is that people who like Bunheads/Sutton Foster didn't mind it as much. Yes, it was too long, but I laughed a lot and absolutely LOVED the final "Unbreakable" song. That was classic Bunheads 100%.

Preach. I wish they had released the episodes as ASP wanted. Other streaming services have hopped on board the weekly episode model, so I don't know why Netflix refuses.

Also a good point. It's hard to get into the conversation days later.

I never understand people who come to these reviews just to say "this thing you all enjoy is bad." Criticism is welcome, obviously, blanket statements of quality are annoying.

Someone else commented that the revival feels like the original season 7 outline, revised slightly to acknowledge that it's occurring almost a decade later. It makes sense why Rory would still be hung up on Logan, as opposed to any other ex, and why she hasn't forgotten those losers altogether.

Bummer you feel that way.

A sixth A- in a row has appeared!

I think it would've been pretty funny if Paul was played by a memorable actor. Can you imagine if Rory's boyfriend that she keeps neglecting is Chris Pine, or Ryan Gosling?

Yeah, that's a good idea. Going through the comments, people are discussing character beats from the entirety of the season, but no major spoilers. Wouldn't rely on that.

I will have so much to say once we get to "Fall" about that scene….

When Luke was going to buy the Twickham house in Season 5, he definitely implied he wanted to have children with Lorelei. It feels weird that they didn't broach the topic at all for 9 years (save the offhand comment). I appreciated that they ultimately decided to not do a surrogacy.

I really liked "Winter", and I think that's mostly as a result of the funeral sequence. The show was at its strongest when showing Emily Gilmore dealing with grief. I also loved how they transitioned from the flashback to the present by highlighting how truly idiodic Lorelei was, despite being thrown off guard. - "

It's all about the page views! Gilmore Girls is hugely popular and given the comments in the binge watch reviews, pretty controversial.

Those were the binge-watch reviews. AV Club typically has 2 sets of reviews when a significant series is dropped all at once on a streaming service.

The revival just makes more sense if you pretend it aired in 2008. Rory is struggling as a post-grad, Lorelei and Luke just reunited a year prior but their relationship isn't moving forward the same way it did pre-Christopher.
