I initially thought Kim might be driving out into the desert to find him, then when I realized it was the same vehicle from before I figured Mike would shoot the driver so they could drive out in that car. Instead they didn’t even manage to get any water.

Oh god Kim is going to get murdered.  Mike saying she's now in the business and that whole Lalo scene feels like either a tip of the hand or flat out trolling.  Oh my god this episode had me on edge.  For a moment I thought the writers were going to have Kim be the driver at the end.  Damn you writing team for making

Gigi is confident, but she’s also pretty humble at the same time. Just seems like a good egg with a lot to offer.

I gotta say, I just don’t get the lack of props given for GiGi’s stellar performance this ep; from her thoroughly unshakable confidence in the walk-through when Ru passive-aggressively plays ‘the External Saboteur,’ (which elicited a very meme-able tongue pop from Vanjie) to her slaying it as a fucking ‘sassy robot’,

It’s clear that She Who Must Not Be Named was being set up as a Jinkx figure to run against Gigi’s look-queen. You can sort of see the ghost of the edits they would have gotten if you look carefully. But now there’s one less queen, and right now Gigi is the clear-cut favorite.

Katherine Hepburn and Tina Turner aren’t gay icons? And there was also a Bernadette Peters.

None of them were painful or embarrassing to watch, which cannot be said for Snatch Games like season 10's Beyonce-Blue Ivy-Maxine Waters three car pileup.

Hey, isn’t it Red Monkey Month?

I know I’m supposed to feel sad for the characters that Jeremiah died, but Dean Cain is such a massive tool in real life that mostly I’m relieved he won’t be on the show now ever again.

Super Alex is a real treat for Supergirl fans—and for Grey’s Anatomy ones too, as the longhaired, upbeat version of Alex is slightly reminiscent of Lexie Grey.

Great episode for Alex. It’s always nice when they can give her a non-romance/non-baby storyline, and this is a rich vein. The tension caused by Kara’s presence in her family is one of the best sources of conflict between their two characters.

I was really sad to see Rock go home as well. A really likable queen and I think she had an interesting aesthetic. Adrien should have been the one to lip sync. I understand the issue with Rock’s third look but I think it wasn’t as bad as Adrien’s third look which smacked of lack of effort

I loved that Cisco held his own in the fight. There was a period where he had his powers but he seemed like a noncombatant and it was good to see him able to handle himself against opponent.

I couldn’t help thinking that the Cisco and Thawn throwdown must have been a blast for the actors. How often do main cast members get to beat the shit out of each other?

Holy crap, what was up with Wally this episode? He came back from a monastery retreat a raging, holier-than-thou asshole! Why is it that when he’s on LoT, he’s breezy and fun, and when he’s on The Flash, he’s a Grade A Prick?

Yeah Alex and Kelly really look bad in comparison to Sara and Ava. Alex and Kelly feel like they are just a token same-sex couple. They barely interacted for several episodes and the producers/writers etc seem unwilling or unable to show anything resembling romantic passion between them. And Kelly is barely a

He could be worse as a character and love interest but I’d still prefer he leave. There’s just too many characters and he feels like the one who should get cut. The show doesn’t need three reporters. Maybe Kara can date casually sometimes. That could be fun. She doesn’t have to be a nun but doesn’t have to settle down

I appreciate that J’Onn waited to gift Alex with a nifty alien super-weapon that can be any weapon she imagines until she was going through a personal crisis, since of course it cheered her right up. He is a good space-dad

This was a GREAT premiere. I was dreading it because i hate Hate HATE Nicki Minaj, but even I can admit that she was a charming and capable guest judge. I wasn’t completely surprised that none of the queens went home, because none of them got explicitly negative critiques (at least not to a “send her home” degree).
