If you have a moment, I’d like to talk to you about our lord and savior, Kara Zor-El
If you have a moment, I’d like to talk to you about our lord and savior, Kara Zor-El
That was awesome! I hope they keep finding ways to include little moments like that.
I believe that what caused the quote to be attributed to her is that she was callously indifferent to the suffering of the masses, and she was extravagant in a time of starvation.
This episode had me at Zari’s 2044 dress, then it had me again when a guy in a giant s’more costume tried to propose. Then it had me by my soul when it gave me headless Marie Antoinette with a flamethrower.
Yeah that doesn’t sit right with me. Winn’s father has been way too despicable and abusive to deserve that.
Making all of the characters competent is one of the smartest things they done.
And this show had a low-key reminder that, even while “a bit much,” Charles is also good at his job: watching him tackle the escaping doctor, and then expertly getting him on his front, and handcuffing him quickly was gold.
Yup. They’re all definitely a similar breed. Shur loves his passionately nerdy characters.
Pimento’s great. Always fun to have him around.
One thing from LaToya’s review that I think deserves a comment is the fact that this show, from its inception, has relied on two pillars to keep it from drifting off into crazyland (y’know, aside from a rock solid cast):
1. Jake is actually good at his job. If he was’t…
Amy is basically the exact polar opposite of The Good Place’s Eleanor.
Saying “Mischief managed” when wrapping up sex, totally rookie mistake by Jake.
But ultimately, he is a character who is designed to work best in short bursts
Maisie Richardson-Sellers apparently was filming another movie, but she came back this week. The only other one who’s been missing was Courtney Ford, but there was a legit story reason for it and she came back this week, too. Though I do think Legends are having a hard time juggling the characters neatly on a…
I use my smart device a few dozen times a day at home and more and ore people are doing the same. My point is that it would be unrealistic to have a young couple like that, who are both tech savvy, not using a smart device for mundane tasks such as setting reminders and turning lights on and off.
She’s basically just inhaling the entire set until she’s standing in front of a never-ending field of pure white and I love it.
It should have been Snarts voice. A snart device if you will.
There is no number for her level of scenery chewing.
Glad to hear I was not the only one who preferred this Iris. You know what’s going to be even more annoying than having the original back?
The Echo product placement was a little awkward, but it would have been more awkward had it been a similar, fake product created for the show to serve the same purpose. Yes, I know that if it weren’t for the product placement it wouldn’t have appeared in the first place, but many people do use smart speakers like that…
Katee Sackhoff’s performance as Amunet goes up to 11. I love it
