This episode was flawed but had moments of greatness - which could be Arrow’s tagline so I guess that’s incredibly fitting. The first 45 mins seemed rushed and poorly paced, the documentary crew was weirdly introduced and then quickly dropped, the flashbacks could have used Felicity, and the explanation of what

I mean, they seem to be floating it, which absolutely sucks. But I don’t see it working any better than Lena/James did.

-GretchenSupergirl, stop trying to make Kara/William happen. It’s not going to happen.

Lena makes faux amends with her erstwhile bestie in order to ensure she and Lex are the first to know about any Leviathan-related rumblings. (Katie McGrath and Julie Gonzalo are both fantastic in this scene.)

True, but Colonel Haley was nowhere near as dynamic an antagonistic force. And to be fair, they have done this quite a bit in the past with different people put in charge of the DEO and CatCo, but it never had quite the same zeal because it often felt like Kara was overreacting and/or the antagonist force was a bit

-I loved that opening commercial for the DEO SO MUCH.
-I was wary about bringing in Lex Luthor last season, but I think right now he’s enabling some truly fantastic stuff. I love the challenge of forcing Kara to work with someone she truly despises. And it’s great having him be the devil on Lena’s shoulder as she

One nice touch I noticed near the end is when they show Earth-96 (Routh) Superman again, he’s got the yellow back in his costume, implying his Lois (and other friends) didn’t die in his new reality. He got a happy ending.  :)

I was actually thinking Zari, once she regains her memories of the previous timeline, because she actually has experience fighting against a secret organization that turned fascist in the future (ARGUS).

I was already smiling when they brought Beebo out for all the non-Legends to marvel/be disgusted at.... but when Ray took a selfie so he could show Nate? I laughed very loudly (sorry neighbors). It was a very brief but perfect Legends move.

I loved all five episodes, and I can’t wait to see how the Arrowverse (we need to keep the name alive... FOR OLIVER!!) is affected going forward. Yes, I was hoping for a giant OllieSpectre appearance to fight the Anti-Monitor, but at the same time bringing Oliver back (again) would have undercut all the great stuff in

WTFN to the extreme with Beebo, hello non LoT fans, start the show from s2 and don’t look back.

I like how William has to sign an NDA to enter the DEO, but its director is totally free to discuss anything about the job with her girlfriend.

I did not recognize Emori without her face tattoos! That is cool to see her. Though both shows shoot in Vancouver I don’t remember another actor from The 100 being on Supergirl

Pulitzers on Earth-38 are literally participation trophies. “Did you write a story? Yes you did. Yes you did! Here’s your Pulitzer!”

There was so much of James literally treating Kara like a sister and seeing her as the younger cousin of his BFF in S1 that I never understood why the show ever tried to make them a thing (that one episode where he was kidnapped and then realized he might be feeling things for Kara was nice though, sort of). The show

kara’s styling has changed. no more cardigans! she’s actually dressing like bad kara from the red kryptonite episode, i like.

Apparently the Pulitzer’s have much lower standards in the Supergirl universe.

Not a bad episode. I have to agree with complaints that they’ve probably gone down the Martian well a bit too much, and it’s starting to feel a bit redundant, even if J’Onn’s brother does have interesting motivations. I guess we’ll see how it pans out when he returns. (And I totally guffawed at the reveal Lena is

Two of the show’s best gags were at the expense of James as the blandly sexy love interest. Cat Grant referred to him, Kara, Winn, and Barry as looking like the “attractive yet non-threatening, racially diverse cast of a CW show.” And Mon-El initially didn’t realize that James was the CEO of CatCo but thought he was

I think James greatly suffered from being so radically different from his comic book version. I don’t mean his race, I mean his personality. When I think Jimmy Olsen, I don’t think blandly handsome sexy love interest.
