Same except I am married to a younger man. I just lie about my age so I don’t have to hear the ageist shit. I don’t need any “you go gurls” b/c I don’t think it’s an achievement to snag a younger man AT ALL. I’ve been dealing with the agesim in trying to find work and have zero ideas but tons of empathy.

Just get back on the wagon and keep trying. When you have a moment to reflect on it and aren’t reeling from: the slip, the jail experience, the guilt and shame, see if there’s anything from this experience that can help you going forward. Sorry you’re having or had a shitty time.
