What this article is missing is an explanation on why Louis CK is listed an executive producer when he has “nothing to do with” the show. The below tidbit doesn’t really explain it.

Are you saying he should scale down coverage?

Where is the snake? Is it in Taylor’s house? Where is Taylor? Is she the snake? Is Taylor a snake in a box?

That was my first thought too! How have I never noticed her tattoos?

It bugs me that she sets up men as the ultimate standard for acceptable behavior: “Your brother is not going to waste any time doing this...”

You know what’s funny, when I was a teenager I was so opposed to makeup. I thought, “guys don’t have to elaborately paint their faces to leave the house, I won’t either.” This persisted through college and well into my 20's, although I’d put on some ridiculous overdone eyeliner and purple lipstick if I was going to

Zadie Smith’s comments irritated me. I can’t disagree that complicated contouring seems like a waste of time for everyday wear for me, but the dismissive tone of it all rubbed me the wrong way. Saying to your daughter, “You must leave for school by 7:50, so I suggest you learn to get ready to leave for school in 50

I’ll have you know I waste time in myriad ways-putting crap on my face is just one of them, and it’s nowhere close to being the most frivolous.

Says the woman with the immaculate cheekbones and gorgeous hair. :)

Counterpoint: putting on makeup makes me feel magical and beautiful and the process is soothing. Especially since I suffer from depression, and sometimes putting on a bold brow or power lip is the difference between me sitting at home crying versus going out and facing the world. Sorry zadie. Love your work, but don’t

She did not leave. She was fired. Because she got pregnant.

And the rumors are a little unclear—Charisma may have handled things legitimately badly on her end. But Joss and the show DEFINITELY handled it cruelly on their end.

Also, one of the things Charisma’s supposed to have done poorly is delayed telling the show

She didn’t leave the show. She was fired. Start around 4:22

How about the part where he picked his mistresses from the pool of actresses that he was employing? Do you give a fuck about the abuse of power there? How about the part where he lied to his wife for 15 years about his relationships with his employees that were giving her pause, telling her not to trust her gut

A feminist doesn’t place the blame for cheating on his wife on the ‘beautiful, aggressive, and needy’ women.

I remember he used to have all of his casts over to do Shakespeare and sing songs. At the time I thought cool as long as everyone is having fun. Now I think it’s a bit creepy. Most of his casts were young at the time in their 20's. I guess like that he seems to take care of the actors he likes, but on the other hand,

Most self-described male feminists are really just clever pick-up artists. Sometimes it’s not just about sex but some pathetic, child-like need to receive attention from women. Whedon always gave off that vibe in his Twitter account and in the interviews he gave. He was very similar to Hugo Swyzer, saying all the

She’s saying that he was so emotionally abusive that she has PTSD. Emotionally abusing one woman in order to facilitate having sex with other women who you employ and have significant power over... that’s not some one who actually believes in feminism.

I might be wrong but it sounds like Joss has cheated with some of the cast/crew. It’s also not that he just cheated one time, but he has cheated multiple times and then gaslighted his wife about it.

That’s messed up. It seems like Joss isn’t just cheating and gaslighting, but he is using his position of power to get sex partners. I’m glad his wife is out here letting women know not to trust him.

As someone who knows the absolute devastation and trauma being cheated on (by the last person you would think) I absolutely understand why Kai did what she did.
