He must have a helluva phone bill.

It’s usually to soon to “announce” to co-workers and acquaintances, but a lot of people will tell at least a few close friends and/or family members by 2 months.

I think it’s a bit of a stretch to call it that, but it’s most certainly a hate crime and should be punished as harshly as permitted under the law.

Thank you for that. I had a “missed” miscarriage last year found at the 10 week ultrasound, and while I didn’t announce anything on social media, I was so happy I told my family and close friends we were pregnant. It happened. I had support, but that baby was part of me and I’m glad important people to me knew.

Absolutely. No matter what way you shake it out, if it was a wanted pregnancy it’s a really shitty situation. (And even if it wasn’t a wanted pregnancy, feelings can be complicated.) I honestly don’t feel like there’s a right or wrong way to go about announcing one’s pregnancy, I just feel like we need to shake up

So taking this conversation in a weird, probably-more-serious-than-you-were-ever-thinking turn, but I’ve long ago accepted my lot in life as a total (good-natured) buzzkill...

Hannah’s so fucking self-absorbed and tone-deaf to the rest of the world that she could only be be 72 hours pregnant and she would still be telling absolutely everyone she knows. The only thing better for Hannah than, “Look at me! I’m pregnant; let’s talk about meeeeeeee!” Would be, “Oh, God. Now I’m not pregnant! I

Yes! 12 weeks is about the earliest you should even think about telling people outside the innermost circle of your life. 13-14 weeks to be safe.

I’m so sad I didn’t get here fast enough to make the first snarky comment about Lena Dunnam’s abortion fantasy finally coming true.

Yeah. It’s easy for us as younger people who maybe didn’t grow up with Bill Cosby to focus entirely on these awful things he’s done. And Dave is obviously acknowledging that, but I get how it could cause a little bit of existential pain for someone like him, the kind that might lead him to say some shit that while

I’m afraid I’d consider switch hitting for that man....

she said in the last episode she was 2 months pregnant.

HAHA! I actually really love the show but I could see why other people don’t.

Yeah I feel the same way, having said (sort of) that she wishes she understood the abortion experience in her podcast made me think Hannah would get one. But then again since Dunham has admitted she doesn’t understand the experience, maybe she feels it would be presumptuous to write a character’s experience?

People keep saying that about Lena Dunham and abortion, but I really don’t think she meant what she said. I read her book. In one of the chapters, she talks about finding out about having some condition (maybe fibromyalgia or something, can’t recall) that’s going to make it harder for her to get pregnant, and how that

The time line is weird and i guess in some ways it’s changed how I relate to the show because I was 25 when it started, and I think they were suppose to be 24 right? But it’s only been like 3 years in the show. I’m 30 now. Sometimes I can’t tell if they’ve purposefully made some of the characters even more annoying,

Ok but where can we get the costumes? I have a feeling we’re ALL going to need to stage these protests soon.

Olivia Coleman is a genius goddess And that’s that!!!

It is Cholula. But it should have been Tapatio.

Yes
