Schreier: What made you and the team decide to make a sequel to Breath of the Wild as opposed to a new Zelda game?

You know literally nothing about that project or how much work has to be done

Nintendo seems to have just decided to stomp everyone while next gen systems still can’t be found in stores.

Yeah. Of mother fucking course Gabe Newell wants to make more money. And he’s going to take actions to do it. But no other video game company anywhere near Valve’s size has decided in the last decade that long-term profit and goodwill are more important than short-term profit. (I attribute this primarily, but not

Disagree about this. I work in software doing IT. 5 years ago, it was rare to find someone with fast internet. Nowadays, it’s rare to find someone with slow internet. Of course, each area is different, but we work with clients nationwide from the sticks to metropolitan areas, and overall everyone’s speeds have

No thanks. I want to enjoy the story and exploration... Not be beaten over the head or forced to learn some secret pattern or whatever. This BDSM obsession gamers have, I don’t get it. It’s not like a difficulty setting would make the game easier for those people who want to suffer while opening access to people who

I’m not too excited about either of the big new consoles, but as a PlayStation fan since the day it launched in 1995 in North America, the PS5 has been the bigger disappointment. There’s no new exclusive games announced that interest me, and with no backward compatibility, no Game Pass-competing service, and the

lol stop. Just take it on the chin for once. It’s true, and the more you sound like your standing up in defense here the more Realnoize’s point is made.

This is super ironic to me. Let me tell ya, I’ve been served, time and time again, the eternal argument AGAINST backward compatibility by Sony fanboys saying that they much prefer Sony invest its money in making new games instead, and that BC was for Xbox losers, that anyone who wants to play old game should just keep

Missing a big obvious one, get an microSD Card to add storage and be able to fit some of those downloaded games, demos and free apps. also get Abema, YouTube, Funimation and NicoNico. Also YouTube has my linked Movies Anywhere so my Digital Copies play on it. Also that Nintedo Switch Online membership get the NES and

I’d say I don’t think Sony and MS are even playing the same game anymore. It looks to me like MS is putting 99% of their focus on improving the value of Game Pass, to get the subscriptions and the steady income. Everything else, including even having a next gen system, is just secondary to that goal.

I still think it’s Sony’s game to lose*, partially because Sony had such an entrenched advantage going into this generation - and those intra-generational advantages mean more and more as our libraries move to digital spaces, I think. I also wouldn’t discount the impact of exclusives moving forward, and, as consoles

This is the case with SO much technology. It’s usually the things that work the best that you don’t notice. It’s only what’s broken that stands out. So people take for granted a system like this that works so hard to stay completely out of your way.

I have so many problems with this writeup I don’t even know where to start, but one thing that struck me was the comment on Nintendo not embracing brevity. As someone who’s currently playing Valhalla, I feel like you’re way off the mark. Mario games aren’t long. I ran through a couple worlds in 3D World in one

What mesh network do you use? Works fine on my Google/Nest Wifi mesh system.

As a PS4 user, all I can say is good on them for allowing the option.

Batman NES music lives in my very soul to this day.

Either way. My laziness spans generations.

It’s good that she understands the problem and has no malice towards Nintendo on this one. To answer the question posed in the article, the difference is largely optics (if she’s a big Tiktok entertainer then Nintendo would absolutely notice her more than random etsy or deviantart pages) and two her intent to
