Do agree. I’m not sure that building a boutique bike around someone else’s engine is lazy. Developing and building a motor is very expensive. I think of bimota as the Italian version of Deus, but with a better history, more racey bikes, and less #lifestyle #branding.
Well, the last time they built a bike around their own engine they went bankrupt, so it's hard to blame them for not wanting to go that route again.

They have modernized the things that aren’t part of their image. The big wiggly V-twin big on torque and low on power is their thing. Frankly, if that’s a niche that needs to exist, they can keep it.

Seems more and more that RCR is jumping the shark. Go back and watch the originals and then watch the new ones. Everything was way darker, weirder, still informative. I don’t know. I could be wrong. I miss old Mr Regular who said really crazy shit (Like the old Tacoma review).
