I definitely don’t agree with how American prisons are run, people who commit crimes deserve to have their freedom taken away, sometimes permanently, but not to make their lives a living hell, especially if we’re going to have any pretense of “rehabilitating” criminals who don’t have life sentences.

Hudsucker Proxy has always been my favorite Coen Brothers movie.

After my first viewing, I enjoyed it but definitely thought it was a little overrated, however the ending recontextualizes the whole thing with who The Dude really is* and therefore it’s a movie that has to be watched at least twice and the more I’ve watched it the moreI’ve liked it.

How was her doing a sex scene in an entirely different project any of Cosby’s fucking business?

Obviously the guy is an asshole, but we’re really going to celebrate his torment and misery like that? (do you have any idea how hellish prison is?)

The Man Show was pretty good, it was like a self parody of uber manly culture.

I hated the obnoxious political grandstanding too, it’s obvious and tacky, even if you agree with it.

They also need to drop best animated film, they never, ever nominate an anime film any more even if one is very worthy, instead they nominate crap like The Boss Baby and it almost always goes to whatever Pixar movie came out (in what fucking universe is Your Name not worthy of an Oscar nom but fucking Boss Baby is?)
