You have got to be a Subway Franchisee, because in every comment on this post you are either taking it way too personally when people criticize Subway, while at the same time managing to sound like a Subway commercial/press release.

I don’t think the price discrepancy between Subway and other chains is as much as you think it is. Currently the subway near me charges $9.99 for a regular turkey sub. Jersey Mike’s down the road charges $9.25 for a regular turkey sub, but their meat is, oh wait, Boar’s Head. Make it make sense.

I went to a Subway last year and was literally shocked by how low quality and horrible it was. The meat is so bad. It’s literally like the stuff in the grocery store that I won’t even go near because you know it’s 90% slime and 10% water. Why on earth would anybody go to a restaurant to pay for that?

It was a silly premise. The other sub shops slice their meat, true, but their meat is also better quality. That’s always been the issue with Subway’s meats. They’re basically on par with Oscar Mayer cold cuts from a deli case.

Agree. It’s so bizarre that she’s got such a vendetta against probably one of the least culpable people on set. Meanwhile, she basically let the A.D., David Hall, get away scot free. The man whose job it was to ultimately oversee general safety on set and who literally told Baldwin moments before the incident that it

“What if we remember him as our friend? What if we didn’t know that he had this tendency inside of him? What if we remember the history of our friend... is it wrong to know that that’s our friend, and that’s somebody that’s not just all bad and not all good, as you’re not all bad and you’re not all good?”

Listen, if the British can’t make tasteless jokes about other cultures, they’ll just completely ignore them.

Yes. It’s unfortunate, but many people who are doing these delivery services as their main job are people who, for various reasons, cannot hold down regular jobs. Some of those reasons are innocuous; disabled people, single parents, students, etc. People who just want or need flexible schedules. They’re fine. But

I fully support the strikes, but I don’t think it’s necessarily true that Amazon and others are being disingenuous when they cite the strikes as reasons for cancellations or rescinding previous renewals. This shouldn’t be coming as a shock to anyone. The longer the strikes go on, the more they will figure into

That he’s suspicious of them is breathtaking. The state of mind one has to be in to do that — I feel sad for him.

I still don’t understand why this incident “irrevocably harmed his career”. Like yes, it was wrong, he should not have done it. But it just doesn’t rise to the level for me of an unforgiveable act. Are people ever going to get over it? Some people are acting like he’s Harvey Weinstein or something. I think Chris Rock

I make some pretty bomb chili cheese fries at home. All made possible by the invention of the air fryer. It solves most of the pitfalls, like soggy fries and non-melty cheese. And yeah, I use frozen fries and chili from a can. I do grate my own cheese though.

Yes. And if I recall, they specifically said that if you are diabetic, just to not worry about this at all. The risks of consuming sugar for people with Diabetes far outweighs the risks of Aspartame.

I don’t like LaCroix or any of the other seltzers that promise flavor but somehow without any sugar or sweetener. They always taste terrible. I do however love fizzy drinks, so I buy plain unflavored seltzer water and mix it with those little single serve artificially sweetened drink mixes so I can get my soda fix

but they’re recast it as an effort to honor Halyna Hutchins by completing it.

The failed comedian to Trump supporter pipeline is still going strong, I guess.

Yep, that’s exactly what’s happening here. Studies found that the average age of people who watched the CW is 58. The internet had a lot of fun with this when it was revealed, but that’s live viewers. I’d be surprised if that’s not close to the average age for all the broadcast networks now. Seriously, who do you know

If you can tear yourself away from Marvel, many of the recent DCTV shows are appropriate for kids. The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Superman & Lois, Supergirl, etc. Some are darker and more violent (Arrow, Black Lightning, Batwoman) and would be ok for older kids or teens but not small children.

Putting a pyrex dish that was just in the fridge or freezer into a preheated oven on a rack is fine
