Audi R18, the 2015 LeMans aero package or the 2016 High Downforce package. The car the proved to me that becoming and engineer within the auto industry was the right move for me. Now working on amazing prototypes for one of the Big 3 and not regretting it at all. It was so influential to me I have the 2016 variant

Like many others have said already. The Ford Maverick.

Yup :D

Remember when a car news site was pro-car? Time to change the name to Generik my friends.

HHR. Our Scirocco broke down in California on Route 66. We had to rent a car to take all our stuff home to Michigan. We made the drive in 3 days. Everything hurt after just a half hour of driving the HHR.

My 2011 GTI is Gustie after the front plate I have. The only car out of the 20 I’ve had that I named. The plate is Gustie 4 and came with my dad’s 81 Scirocco I helped him restore as a kid. Unfortunately that car met a sad end on Route 66. We always joked “what happened to the first 3?” But at least we know what

I love recycled content!

Lest we forget Strati. They printed, assembled and ran a version of one at the NAIAS. I got to ride in it and young me thought it was the coolest thing.

Previous partner and I had 4 cats together. All named after Chevy’s. All grew into their namesake, either in size, quirks or personality. We had Blazer, Vega, Onix and Titan.

I’ve seen this concept before. About 12 years ago.

Something is telling a ‘65 Plymouth. Not sure why though....

The VW Scirocco from the new Karate Kid. Had a pretty big impact in the film, but unfortunately was not treated very well in the end.

Buick Regal TourX. Stylish, comfy and good on fuel. Could do pretty much anything an SUV could do. And no one ever knew what it was.

Scirocco > GTI

I know its just a concept drawing at the moment. But it would interesting to have another competition without the rear wing.

My old `85 Scirocco. I would drive it around town when I was in school. Foot to the floor, going thru the gears and only going 45. You could take corners flat at 30 and in would lift the inside rear wheel off the ground, made the car all squirrelly. Super fun.

So I found another image with a different headlamp design. :thonk:

My Lancia Zagato had a hood release on both sides of the car. Considering how much I popped the hood, it was nice having options.

Yeah, I had high hopes for this class. I just learned of them dropping this rule with the release of the Peugeot. It’s really disappointing considering how this rule was essentially the basis of the Hypercar class at the start.

This is a must see film. First watch it without subtitles and be confused. Then watch it again with subtitles and be even more confused! Its that type of film. Easterneuropeanmovies has the film online if you’re interested.
