Unless you have widgets that poll the internet (eg Twitter or weather) updating every couple minutes, no there's no battery life decrease. There is a minor performance decrease with each widget added, but it's only starts to be a problem with modern phones if you have tons of screens of widgets.
Same with iOS.
Cut the Rope Experiments is free today on the App Store too.
Thanks for picking nostalgia wallpapers that I can actually relate to. Dexter's Laboratory was one of my favorite shows.
Google can't ban Windows no matter what if they want to test Chrome on it...
I didn't say that. All I said was that Google will probably stop Blur because they hate it too. I wouldn't mind "Google overrunning the smartphone market...with Motorola's hardware". It wouldn't be any different than Apple. Google would probably lose money though at first because HTC and Samsung would pull out.
Google said it'd function as a separate company, but I still expect some influence by Google. Hopefully, Motorola stops shipping Blur. At the very least, I hope we see unlocked boot loaders. The other OEMs can't complain about Motorola shipping stock or unlocked phones because they can do it too. They just choose not…
I agree. I usually replace the in-game soundtrack with other music. I am not the biggest fan of the WoW music in most places, so I usually just have Pandora on in the background and mute the music.
Hackintoshing has gotten a lot easier recently. There are lists of builds that work 100% and you don't even need an existing Mac anymore to do it. You just need the OS installation disc(s).
Wish I was paying attention to the call for contenders post. I use Nearly Free Speech. They have pay as you go based on you loading up an account with cash. It's not unlike a prepaid cell phone plan. It costs me about a dollar a month because my site doesn't get very many hits.

I like the Office Space reference. Love that movie. I agree with most of these. In terms of battery, I usually wait until my device gets to below 20% to charge with the exception being my phone. Even at 40% at the end of the day, it wouldn't last all day the next.
That "doh" wasn't here when I posted. XD
You accidentally put a 'G' instead of an 'M'. He's making a joke out of that. 100Gb/s would be insane.
The Macbook Air and other ultrabooks are significantly more powerful than netbooks. If they were just glorified netbooks, they wouldn't cost hundreds more. In general, optical drives are being phased out. The only reason I have one in my desktop is because there isn't really a reason not to. You have the slot, might…
That will never happen. Apple won't do that. This is the same company that didn't license Mac OS when it wasn't doing well. Apple is about complete control over their products. They won't let another company have any branding or anything to do with it in the eyes of the consumers.
Apple outsources their parts. Most of the iPhone comes from Samsung.
MacX is also free for Windows right now.
Yeah, it's not the perfect solution, but it's the only way I can see me using Metro on the desktop like Microsoft wants me to.
