@wish_i_was_hiking: Wow, really? Sounds nice! I saw a girl wearing a tutu last night, with ankle boots.

Oh, no... my partner and I were just discussing the unfortunate 80's revival, and our relief that shoulder pads hadn't come with it...

Well, I can't say I buy her sweeping statements about the deeper meaning of our society's obsession with Gaga, but I find her descriptions of Gaga to be pretty accurate, if over the top.

@Goldbunny86: We tried to watch an awful netflix movie last night but it was too awful... "Nick of Time", with Johnny Depp. We thought anything with Johnny Depp couldn't be that bad, but it was pretty egregious. Only made it through 10 minutes.

@Goldbunny86: Well, I meant the netflix and kitty snuggling... the first part sounds awful.

@enduremp: Well, it's Miller Lite. And the wine is "on tap" (i.e. in a box behind the wall), and it's a nondescript blush. But once you're at Chuck E Cheese, any alcohol is good alcohol, in my opinion.

@kv8246: Gah, me too! Those things are heavenly. I'm a little older than you and still haven't gotten one. I did remodel my kitchen and it looks awesome, though. So when I finally get one it will have a nice place of honor instead of a crappy rental formica countertop. So, progress...

@Goldbunny86: I bow down in awe of your evening... it does actually sound quite lovely.

@CubeRootOfPi: Maybe outdoor activities? I know you said exercise wasn't helping, so I don't mean just running outside. More like getting out into nature, it's free and I usually find it pretty inspiring. I think it's seeing all the greatness that doesn't involve the rat race.

@The Faery Goth Mother: I was holding my two month old daughter watching the TV on 9/11... it was weird to sit there and cry for the world my daughter would grow up in that would be so defined by that day, and to think that she would have no memory of it.

@enduremp: Yeah, I can understand that. The first thing that pops into mind is the beer/ wine at Chucky Cheese's... How else is one supposed to put up with that place?

@PrettyPrettyPrincess: I don't want to feel like I live in fear all the time, so don't usually think about this stuff, but I have noticed that there just seems to be something irresistible about joggers/ runners to rapists. I would assess your track and try to really decide whether you feel the need to do something

@ObservantUnderachiever: Oh, my goodness, I had JUST managed to forget about that awfulness... Thanks a lot!

I don't know, this doesn't really bother me, especially as it's not their only message. Women don't have to be insecure to want to lose baby weight. It's a health thing, too, and there's nothing wrong with wanting to lose those pounds.

Wow, clothes I actually LIKE on a runway? I'm in shock.

@rixatrix has a bargain for frances: Haha, that's what I always think when I see these covers. Why is it always about men's orgasms? That's a freaking cakewalk compared to getting one for myself! (And that's from someone who considers her lover to be quite adept)

@portia-potty: Ah, youth! I hope I can remember all the dumb shit so when I'm old I'm not always wishing to be young again!

@curmudgeon5: I don't know, there are a lot of people that seem perfectly normal for a while, then their crazy seeps out... Or that are fine until they get stung by the end of the relationship, then they get all crazy. It's not easy to judge people's character, and hindsight of course...
