Tempest in a very tiny teapot. There may very well be other, more legitimate grievances that need to be addressed in the working environment. But using this fluffed up “complaint” as a flagship example makes me wonder how egregious they can really be.

That phrasing makes me stabby. It sounds manipulative, like a low-key guilt trip. Agreed. Why would I continue to let a company with a widespread ethics problem handle my money and identity? If an individual did this, they’d be behind bars. Why should a company get away with it? Find out who in management pushed these practices, and level charges. Beyond shady.

Given the 65% rate at which my kids are typically able to hang onto things like coats, backpacks, electronics, snow gloves, and shoes, I don’t spend that kind of money on anything I buy for them.
