That's a pretty good analysis. Just had a look at some of them on youtube, and they're still as bizarre as ever. As you said, the game itself has absolutely beautiful graphics. I still fire it up sometimes just to look around and feel impressed.

I loved it when it worked, and I had some stunning experiences, but it didn't really work enough for me. As I've seen some other people say, I enjoyed the time trial mode a lot more than the main game, because then at least I just got to concentrate on running.

Get rid of god awful anime/manga scenes (can't remember if they were actually animated or just stills). Manga style in general suits the game, but the drawing in those scenes was horrendous.

Exactly my experience. I remember reading all about the 'flow' of the game, and how important that was, yet it was primarily a stunningly unfluid experience. I wanted the freedom to explore, instead I got shot to death (or fell to my death) every few seconds. More deaths than any other game I have played.

They might be doing it out of respect, but the act itself is still one that therefore admits that the games might in some way be responsible, which is I think what most commenters are baulking at.

Apart from this is completely legal (a pretty substantial difference). Companies that offer price matching that works like this must surely be aware of how an announced price drop (for any product ever) could be used. They can put up a notice or something saying that it won't be honoured on the 3DS if they want.

To be honest, I thought most of the flaws of the film were those of the books (deaths skipped over pretty quickly, and I think the Hallows are a completely and utterly pointless addition (just to allow the elder wand owner control change thing)).
