GE electric drive systems that are used on haul trucks create more energy when the truck is in “Retarding Mode” slowing down i.e. heavier load=more resistance to stop(creates more energy). The current option goes through “grids” and dissipate heat/energy currently instead of being tied into a battery.

Not sure on every state’s law but CA requires 90-day Bit Inspections. This is basic safety items to make sure trucks are safe to operate on the road. Didn’t look to see if the company itself has any law suits but since they pay for the maintenance/up-keep they should be just as liable even more so if they maintain…
