Giving up on Dexter any season after season 4 was a good idea. Life's too short, man.

Okay, that's actually a really good break-down of the supposed disconnect between the two story-lines.

Wait… on this show?! Which episode?

How is "the race war subplot" - awful term, by the way - a "waste" of 5-10 minutes?

So I'm guessing "f*ggot" to Eric means… being effeminately gay? I didn't quite get it.

Another great episode, though this one made me remember that in American Crime, don't expect happy endings.

Based on his name (Chris Dixon), I'd assume African-American. We haven't seen enough of the character to infer that he might be Afro-Latino. But your theory that he might be Afro-Latino is especially intriguing. How would they convey that particular dilemma and conflict without exposition and/or flashbacks? Since this

Lt Hurwitz to Eric Garner: "Hit the treadmill if you're going to take on 5 people at once."

Terrific episode (as usual):

Wait… You didn't watch season one beyond the first episode, then came back this season? Why is that?

I agree, but not surprised they didn't. 1) The show is EXTREMELY well-written. 2) John Ridley is the show-runner/executive producer. Nuff said.

That's an interesting take. Never even considered that. i just took it as Kevin's dad being a homophobe, hence, the strong reaction.

The best Toyman-centric episode came courtesy of Bruce Timm & Co. when they wrote the creepy "Fun & Games" episode in Superman:TAS.

I had to check to see if you made that up b/c it sounded too ridiculous. Christ… that actually happened. And they dragged poor Barracuda into it.

I don't mind that. ONLY IF they add some real depth to the Punisher. If you haven't, please read "Punisher: Born" or "Up is Down and Black is White" or "Long Cold Dark" or "The Slavers". Or Jason Aaron's MAX run as well.

Or Jason Aaron's MAX run… which incorporates Kingpin, Bullseye, and Elektra.

Was that sarcasm?

Since it's a Nike shirt and Lee is a New Yorker, it might be a "syracuse orange" shirt.

Why isn't this show's first season on DVD? Anyone know?

Was that an SNL Weekend Update Norm McDonald joke?
