Wow, are you implying that the less fortunate (those only making 6 and 7 figure incomes) have to sacrifice the small luxuries in their life to make ends meet? It’s like you are shaming the poor for not living the most bare bones existence just to get by.

But do NOT, under any circumstances, cancel your membership in America’s premier luxury resort destination, Mar-a-Lago. Dumpster dive if you must, but make sure your dues are paid in full, preferably in cash. Rubles accepted, and at an exceptionally favorable exchange rate.

Poor people are dumb, and don’t have the ability to UNDERSTAND budgeting. SAD!

That was the first thing I saw. She was always moderately attractive and very skinny but now she is turning plastic.

Wait...the blond one is 36? That is amaaaazing. I feel SO much better about turning 40 now. Hell, my late-70s mom looks better than that woman.

I caught that too. “Man, it must hurt so much for me to be continually punching you in the face.”

He probably didnt think theyd really investigate. Its sorta ironic that he probably did this to raise his profile but it was his profile (however low it might have been) that ensured an investigation.

The most horrifying part of it to me is when he was called in to identify the brothers he allegedly hired. How would he reacted if it had been a pair of white men? Or Asians? Indians? Aboriginal Americans? Or other black men? Would have sat back and let them get charged, or would he have stepped up and said that they

Kelly’s people assured CBS that Kelly would not be in the room during the interview, but he snuck back in and coughed loud enough that the women in the interview heard him.

That worries me so much for these girls. I’d already seen several clips before I heard R Kelly was in the room with them, and I just felt so afraid for them. Thank you for bringing it to the front of my mind again. I almost let myself forget.

I didn’t know Kelly was in the room! I can’t believe King and CBS agreed to that! (Though I imagine they wouldn’t have gotten Clary and Savage on camera otherwise.)

Antoni is all of us in this moment

True story, but 50 or so years ago, doctors who treated married women told the husband about any medical issues rather than speaking to the woman. I learned that when I read about Alabama George Wallace’s wife Lurleen (you may not have any sympathy since both were awful racists). When she had a c-section in 1961, the

This has happened to me (and friends) many times. To the point when my blood work finally came back wonky recently I felt so much relief because once they see numbers they sit up and pay attention. It’s nuts to have a system where I’m glad to get bad results.

I think about this episode every time I’m dealing with a doctor!!!

I think about that episode a lot. I was a kid when it first aired, but nothing in the subsequent years has made me thinkanything has changed.

Dorothy is the best! (Sophia is my fave, but Dorothy is badass.)

That episode stayed with me as well, even though I’m pretty sure I was eight or nine when I saw it. I’m now in a position where I feel crappy all the time and got a bunch of tests that were inconclusive or treatments that didn’t really help. It got to the point where it was more of a hassle to keep going to doctors

YES! God, I forgot about this scene.

There are so many GG episodes that were way ahead of their time - Dorothy’s brother’s crossdressing, Blanche’s daughter’s choice to have a sperm donor, Rose’s AIDS scare. NOT ENOUGH CREDIT!
