But is he really drunk? He was drinking hard liquor and snorting meth in the 90's, I really don't think cheap beer would have much of an effect on him.

How did they watch it "wrongly"? I rooted for the things he were doing to succeed but not for his sake. He still deserved to lose. The fact that this makes complete sense to me and the character is a huge credit to Gilligan and the writers.
Breaking Bad is a pretty obvious example, a least towards the end. Some people might not agree with me though.
Was that the guy with the insane mop of hair? He looked like a great dude.
Figure skating is boring, give me the biathlon instead. Yeah, I'm Norwegian.
Is that what was written on the painting? According to Wikipedia the Hamiltons were Scottish nobility, but I can't find anything about the East Indies though. I guess that's where the fiction comes in.
Ah, that makes sense. I read some books set in the time between Cromwell and James II getting kicked out, but it pretty much ended there. I got confused about the reference to Edinburgh, thought maybe I'd missed some long lost Scottish royalty.
I agree the rape scene was weak, but not quite as bad as you say. Rackham didn't have any choice, he had basically the entire crew there making threatening gestures at him and they were already pissed with him about the pearls. Now he's letting the person they see as responsible (because she's a woman and a prostitute…
I just want to say that Bear McCreary is the best. He gets to work with drums and both ethnic and traditional music here and you can tell he's having a lot of fun with it.
This is my new guilty pleasure, and I hope the writing and characterizations will rise to Spartacus levels in which case it will be truly awesome. The first episodes of that show were much much worse than this so hopefully they'll get there.
Maybe he changed his mind and just wanted an excuse to get out of making the movie :P
I've never been very interested in Elena. I've never understood why Stefan and Damon are so into her. She was boring when she was human, she was a bit better last season but now she's boring again. I watch the show for all the other characters, and in my opinion she could be written out and it would probably be a more…
The National Anthem was horrible, no doubt about it. Partly because it was so plausible.
I don't believe Jeremy or the coven are dead. No body, no death!
Yeah but in this one people are actively participating in the horror. Paying for it, taking their kids as a day out. That might make it less plausible, but no less horrifying.
Every Christmas? Do I want to know what you get people for Christmas presents?
A-. A horrific comment on British media culture that all journalists who have ever considered writing a "kill the bastard" piece for the tabloids should watch. The - is for being a bit blunt.
A-. Very very good, but most of the others disturbed me more.
He's credited in the opening sequence as a main character. Along with Katrina admittedly, but I think they're both going to become a lot more important with time. I hope.
All I heard was CHILD IN WHEELCHAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!
