There’s absolutely no call for comments like this. I edit my work—we all do—but the night moves quickly and sometimes there are slip-ups. Please use this space to engage kindly and thoughtfully.

Yes I am aware... I had several rounds of IVF and had to give blood every two days for my hormone levels to be scrutinized; which is why I know that you can’t dismiss the powerful effects that hormones (and not just testosterone) have on the body.

Not really. She’s intersex. She’s not fighting her body to feminize it by taking hormones, but she’s not supplementing her body either through doping. She just is existing as herself. It’s tricky as fuck. There’s a reason men and women have separate categories for racing, and unfortunately there isn’t an in between or

That’s interesting. I wish I could parlay PCOS into elite athleticism instead of unwanted hair and an impossible time losing weight. (Oh, and the anxiety! It’s fun too.)

I guess this is what we get with the Gawker migration? Cool stuff.

yup. I honestly got no problem with the tweet.

Yea I’m pretty sure that this was more what she meant. But nonetheless it’s a shitty joke and a stupid thing to write. I found that a lot of her tweets make me want to tell her to mind her own damn business.

Can we not forget that when women cape for rapists or apologists, that not only makes it worse for victims but sends a message that those victims shouldn’t be listened to since this woman is saying those guys are “alright”?

No. NO. Why? Literally when in obstetric nursing would you ever PUSH the baby BACK IN?!

Sounds like they were trying to delay things so the doctor could get there?

Also, what difference would it make whether he knew she was alive or not, she wasn’t his wife.

I loathe this movie for so many reasons, this alternate ending just makes it worse.

When you sit in a court of law day in and day out, it’s easy to forget that your litigants are human beings with lives outside of the justice system. Good on Judge Wolf for not forgetting and for not being afraid to sometimes let common sense prevail over the black letter law. She is a credit to the bar.

This is so meta. It’s a corny Canadian who ironically danced liked a corny white dad being parodied by a corny Canadian.

But you know? At least they were all equally fucked up? That's something right?
