I'm wondering if advising all parents to get mirrors would help these sorts of situations - the ones you have by your rear-view mirror angled to see the kid. So you can't not see the kid every time you check your mirror.

This makes me incredibly sad to hear. My fiance is an officer, and maybe it's different in the US, but he joined/serves because he wants to better his community. Sure, I bet there are bad eggs here too, but the guys he works with are all really decent people.

Dunno if cops in the US are just getting worse or the media is obsessed with only reporting about the douchebags. Either way, sad.

I don't think we'll ever have separate beds. We are (sickeningly) very into snuggling and always sleep spooned one way or the other. I sleep terribly without him, even tho he snores sometimes.
