Aw. We always had to finalise meal stuff 24-48 hours in advance so catering could order/stock each flight. It's pretty hard to do last minute meals, though I'm surprised they didn't have an extra veg meal just in case (often standard practice at the airlines I've worked for).

Yeah it happened to ground staff when I worked for an airline, too. Lots of staring. I kinda just learned to ignore it.

I shower every other day, wash my hair once a week. I don't smell and my hair is too thick to wash more often.

Yours too. It has been 17 years for me but it affected every relationship I've ever had. I'm in a great place now and try and counsel others. Hopefully our culture will adapt and these things will happen less and less. x
