Those little legal holes are often the things I love most about this show!

The bowling ball audio was actually similar to the Johnathan Coulton situation. There's a weird quack sound effect from Coulton's recording that comes up in the Glee version—nearly proving that they lifted his track. So didn't seem too far-fetched to me.
