I think what was meant was that it's exhausting to hear people who have never been suicidal pontificate about the morality and mental space of suicide.
Nora's always had an undercurrent of bitterness - and borderline cruelty - in her. She's immensely loving as well, but she's very, very angry. She mostly keeps that in check, but after her last couple of days she's just not bothering to do it anymore.
It only seems short if you're gonna make a career of gleefully making giant men snap each others necks.
How dare you
Ugh, god, this is so fucking charming
I mean, yeah, you're right. BUT STILL
I dunno - a lot of people are in denial about their sexuality for a while before discovering that they're gay. Especially someone with Mac's religious background. I don't think there has to be any contradiction.
It's, like, two years too late but I wanted you to know that "nepotism bro" made me laugh
It's always best when they can cast someone who nails both the appearance and mannerisms of a character (looking at you, Younger Shelly), but if there can only be one I'd always pick the latter. I love Raquel and Kathryn Hahn so much on this show. The Pfeffermans, though I sort of like them in a way, are such a cesspool of narcissism and selfishness. Raquel is like a beacon of generosity and kindness in every episode she's in. It breaks my heart that she deserves so much and is given so little.
Really? I felt the opposite. Took some time to get going and then really hit its stride a few episodes in.
"The dream sequences, the flashbacks, the Stevie Wonder music, all served to indicate that Olivia was still not over the consequences of “Run,” when she was taken hostage, causing the president to go to war, culminating in her auctioning herself off on the open market for her freedom. The architect of this heinous…
I'm a year late, but I wanted to let you know that this made me laugh for like five minutes.
David Rees's Spontaneanation interview about his Secret Band was amazing.
