I’m 40 weeks pregnant on Saturday and hoping that having a newborn soon will distract me from the news cycle. Does that count?

I wish. I have cousins on Facebook yelling about the “liberal Hollywood” and how they’re sick of them complaining.

He’s still amazing live. If you can, you totally should.

Now imagine that scene with a different director, or a different perspective on Anakin, one where Padme isn’t trying to comfort him for the sake of him, but to save herself and placate him to remove herself from danger.

They’re called the Mon Calamari so I’m pretty sure they’re squid.

That was actually in the DVD commentary that I got totally high and watched once. Mr. Bean was originally conceived as an angel who was trying to save Alan Rickman from making a horrible awful mistake, but they edited the bits that made that obvious out because they wanted to keep the movie more grounded.

A lot of famous people, especially talk show hosts and newscasters look like that.

I used to hear the high pitch of the old TV being on even if the volume was off!

I’ve always been able to smell television, but it was more pronounced when I was younger, I think having to do with older tv sets.

Do not ask this woman to be a bridesmaid, I implore you, because it will only make things worse. If she assumes it, just say, “We’ve decided to keep our bridal party small and I’ve chosen X, Y, Z.”

For what it’s worth, our birth instructor told us to bring cookies/cupcakes to the delivery so our nurses will look the other way when we want to eat something during labor. It’s not so much a “nice” thing to do, but a way to bribe them into being nicer to you.

Because the best people in advertising often don’t want to work for just ONE brand, or there isn’t the knowledge level at the top of the company to hire the best talent in the advertising industry, nor do they then know how to manage them if they do hire them? It’s a huge endeavor to hire that many people and then get

Because then you build your business based on one client and if that relationship goes south, you have to lay everyone off and can go bankrupt. Scaling an agency to fit ONE contract is a really risky business practice and some agencies are happy to have mid-small level clients who they work with closely.

Can we also talk about waitlists? I’m getting on the waitlist for day cares for my current fetus, eventual infant, and it’s like any where from $50 to $200 to get on a waitlist, which does not guarantee you a spot when you need it. We got on a waitlist AS SOON AS WE KNEW I WAS PREGNANT for $50 and they could not tell

We’re looking at daycares now. The ones that provide breakfast, lunch & snack are around $1250-$1400/month for infant day care. The ones that don’t provide food are still between $850 and $1100/month for infant day care. It goes down SLIGHTLY for toddlers. I live in Pittsburgh, which was called one of the affordable

My husband’s great-uncle hugs me too tightly and for far too long, to the point where I might make a scene at the next family reunion. “I shouldn’t be gasping for air!! You are not a boa constrictor trying to eat me!!”

Not every city has good public transit and not every job is located in a city.

He kinda looks like Ruby Rose there...

It’s 90-100 degrees out. There’s no way I’m putting on skinny jeans.
