I agree with your point that the fear might work. But honestly, the delivery was so terrible, I don't know how anyone could be inspired. I kept zoning out last night. I think people who already were with him liked it, but I don't see how that speech changed anyone's mind.

The speech was leaked a few hours early and most people that read it thought it sounded great. Then Trump started talking. The difference between the page and the performance was astounding. I lost interest about 30 minutes in. I get it, we are all going to die. Okay.

We might be in the middle of the RNC, but this is the biggest story in Republican politics right now. Fox News was their base of operation and now the foundation has cracked.
