Yah regarding the wait, but Uchi has been around here longer than Houston. During peak times (weekends) if you get there @ 4:45 you're in. We go every couple of weeks during the weekday or Sunday and rarely have a problem. Generally we get there @ 5:30 on those days and gorge off the SS menu until 6:30. Wait ramps up…

Pairista, if you go to Uchi early they have a Sake Social menu that is relatively affordable and includes most of the popular dishes. Between 5:00 and 6:30, I believe. Smaller portions but about 50% off the dinner menu.
