What is this, 1982?

I thought we know what Netflix is axing based on third-parties. We also know what Netflix will add based on those same third-parties. Equilibrium.

I just don't see it that way. Nothing I said above was hollow, and I'm only "taking" what makes sense from the character's perspective. See this comment:

I didn't hear anyone else calling his name either. I wrote "as were probably some other people" because the crowd may have been hooting or catcalling using Brody's name. I just meant that as a reason why yelling his name might not have been suspicious. And her back was turned to most of the crowd and she was

An F and F? Really now? Are we exaggerating a teensy weensy bit? :)

I know, I SO wanted more scenes or backstory on him.

I know, and that's fair enough. It isn't the ultimate conclusion I was commenting on (Praise or Criticize), it was just the thinking behind the criticism. Like the opening scene. I can see how people would view it with disbelief, but they at least tried to set up why Brody was left alone with Akbari. There were

Eh? She was noticed, and hit off the fence 15 seconds later. And white women in hijabs may be treated differently and persecuted in the Middle East, but I doubt they are blatantly arrested or harassed by the police. She also wasn't "protesting" per se or calling for his release. She was just calling his name, as

I half expected Brody to come into the CIA lobby at the end as a zombie. So glad they stuck with the death hehe. Great ep all around.

It's legitimate in theory, but in practice some of the things listed can so easily be explained or become sensible from a character's perspective that it just comes off as pettifogging. It's also a criticism I've seen levied at the show for a good while now, so it gets tiresome. This is how it's gonna be, folks.

There's a fair degree of difference between evaluating the show on its merits and nitpicking at things that at least have a modicum of plausibility from a dramatic standpoint.

Oy with the parameters of S1. No, the show hasn't been that way for awhile and everyone knows it. Even the writers know it I'd wager. I'm kind of with Alien Jesus on this one. Especially since there were decently plausible reasons for a lot of what you discussed.

I feel like they've been saying the same things with Game of Thrones, but umm…life is change yadda yadda. I'm excited to see where it goes next.

I actually completely agree with this even though I excused it because there was a reason for each of the exchanges from a character perspective too. I really liked the episode, but yes, *slightly* overwritten to be a bit too much justification for the show.

Seriously? The first sentence is the rationale for the second? There was some stuff missing in between. :P

I thought it was pretty decent. I agree on the B, perhaps B-. ^^

Oh cool, hopefully this show follows suit.

Oh s-hit, it was new last night? I didn't know!

It raised for two straight weeks (in its 8th and 9th weeks, mind you) and happened to drop for this one. Wouldn't call that hemorrhaging.

Because it gets you to watch and then post about it.
