I am very proud of myself for immediately recognizing Heavenly-at-Tahoe and very mad that it was 80 in the Bay Area this weekend and I didn’t take the opportunity to go bikini boarding.

Regarding Mack, I’ve had patients come walking in with “bruises” that turned out to be fractures, (and not micro fractures, either,) the location and individual pain tolerance goes a long way.
Hayne only left the NFL to go represent his country in the frigging Olympics.
Yes there is. Torodol is toxic to the renal system, (so much so that it can be only be prescribed for five days at a time under guidelines,) and it’s indicated for “pain requiring relief at the opioid level,” and can mask injuries - new or old - so while it’s not a CS, it can do A LOT of damage.
For the laypeople here: torodol isn’t a controlled substance, but it is a HIGHLY effective pain killer, (when I had surgery a few years ago I had a dilaudid pump which didn’t help with shit, but torodol put me out of my misery so I could sleep.) It’s indicated for “pain relief at the narcotic level. It’s also…
Thank you, fellow Kath.
You are correct. I was on narcotic pain meds for my entire pregnancy, and we weaned at 30 weeks to ensure she didn’t go through withdrawals because IT’S IN HER FUCKING BLOOD STREAM.
According to lawyer-husband, in some places it’s an enhancement.
That is Drew Carey’s son.
They don’t speak English.
No, we don’t. I think it’s because as a woman you have this ingrained societal right to not be touched, so our handshakes are much more “I tolerate you enough to touch you.”
...but his comment was actually in agreement with me. Three out of those five aren’t injuries, (and at times “foreign objects in body” aren’t either.)
Emergency department, (because we have many rooms.)
In my ED we get a whole lot of strokes, (we’re a comprehensive stroke center,) MIs, UTIs, and URIs. I do trauma surgery, (regional trauma center,) and because of ED overflow I’ve at times ended up doing random things like suturing in rapid care and replacing obstructed PICCs.
In my my ED, and we are a regional trauma center with a burn unit, you see about a 3:1 ratio in favor of illness. If we had more comprehensive health care this wouldn’t happen, and EDs would be reserved for those actually critically ill and injured, but because so many people are uninsured and/or lack access to…
If you remembered correctly, it was Kyle who stole her Goddamn house.
Okay, this is really confusing, because it also states “6-foot-5 guard is currently serving an NCAA-issued suspension for unknowingly taking a PED offered to him by a family member. He was given the substance after allegedly being involved in a car crash over the summer.” Are they the same person? If he was given it…
That is true, but a medication taken to relieve symptoms after an MVA is likely Rx-only.
I...don’t feel bad for him? Look, your cousin is not your doctor. You shouldn’t be accepting Rx pills from anyone but your physician.
I replied to the wrong person.
