i dont think that is the case at all here? brittany obviously had the foresight to know her mom would betray her wishes, and her husband is just trying to protect brittany’s legacy

Nothing says “great mom” like going against your dead child’s very specific wishes. /s

I try with kids to say ‘Would you like a hug?’ rather than ‘Can I have a hug?’ since i feel like they might be more comfortable turning down an offer than a request.

That is some Kate McKinnon-level camera smirking there. The Hillary Clinton impression game has come full circle.

Watching women come together to defend HRC is one of the most gorgeous things I have seen, culturally, in years. So many men I know just do not see the problem. They just “feel” like they don’t like her, and can’t register the sexism. But women see it! We’ve all been there with some oaf trying to stand over us and

I don’t know how she doesn’t just go into a lecture on the functioning of government every time. Like every time he went on about how why she didn’t fix anything as First Lady of Arkansas/the US or as a Senator, I’m in awe of her ability to not just stand there and give a run down of how laws get made. Like a civics

oh my god, she’s like a living breathing Jim Halpert.

Remember how many of us were like, “I hope Obama doesn’t get assassinated during his inaugeration.” Well, I wish I could say I am not thinking the same about Clinton.

I am so fucking ready to see this woman get her Inauguration Day.

Really? I like Biden but I think he would be too easily goaded into a name calling contest with Trump. I have a lot of issues with Hillary on a policy level but I don’t think there’s anyone better to face Trump. She’s the most level headed person I’ve ever seen and since Trump’s misogyny seems to have been one of the

This poor, poor little girl. You know what, it’s quite plausible that she’s devastated at the thought of not having her dad in her life - abuse within families is as complicated as it is horrific, and it could not be clearer that the adults in her life are encouraging her feelings of loss and guilt, rather than those

To be fair, he actually only made a bad choice. Bad choice making is way different than being a molesting predator, right? Most likely he’ll never molest her again, so they think. Oooooooorrrr. he’ll just be way better at covering his ass.

At the least she still has to live with a mother that thinks her rapist is not such a bad guy and deserves forgiveness.

There are over 2000 posts now! I’m going to add my story, though I doubt many of you will see it.

The house where I grew up was pretty new - way newer than any of the other houses on the block. A typical one-story ranch house that you might see in any stretch of American suburbia. Likewise, all the furniture in the house was pretty par for the course. My room had a little-kid bed, a nightstand, a table and chairs

Not a ghost story (I don’t think, anyway...) but true and definitely scary at the time. This will for sure dox me.

This isn’t my story, personally, but it’s one that has kicked around my family for so long that it definitely feels like it’s mine. It’s been told and re-told, but I do think that the central details are very solid.

These stories always start out with the buying of a dream or perfect, too good to be true home. I followed a strict rule when I bought my house. If I walked in and the house was perfect or the price was too low for the quality or my “dream” home I passed. I love my house it’s great, but it has little to no closet

Okay, so this may not be the scariest story ever, and none of you will ever see it because I’m as gray as they come, but it is 100% true and you can make of it what you will.

Make a pentagram on your bathroom ceiling from a poultice of your own hair, a gallon of ram’s blood, and the livers of fifteen alcoholic chickens. Cover yourself in a thick layer of golden glitter while chanting that song from The Little Mermaid about Ariel wanting legs in Aramaic and boom, no more spirits.
