I read one of their quote yesterday about how the jury and everyone has forgotten that Trayvon was acting like a scared kid...people really do seem unwilling to place themselves in that situation. If I was walking at night, minding my own business, and someone was trailing me and making me feel scared for my safety,

I think my face has that problem, and just my face. So every time I run or do anything aerobic, my face feels like it is going to explode. I am truly sorry you have that feeling over your whole body. It honestly must be awful :(

I am shocked that Lindsay Lohan is on his list of "professional and easy going" types. Have to wonder when it was that he worked with her...and Nicki Minaj must be atrocious to work with if she makes Lindsay look good. Yikes.

I have heard this from several sources. What a shame when people feel entitled to act like such assholes. What a jackass.

I am in favor of a clothing line inspired by Scandal, because I would totally wear Olivia Pope's wardrobe, especially her jackets.

I so despise this heat. I am either hiding out in the air conditioning or I am a complete puddle of sweat and frizz.

I think the expense is reasonable, too. And it's not as if these women demanded that they stay in a hotel, it was required by the trial. I am sure that, given the choice, they would have much preferred to be able to go home at night and eat with their families.

Given that the majority of people who have to serve on juries end up spending a couple days, max, and are able to go home to their families at night and won't have their decision questioned by the entire nation, I really don't care about this. Not to mention that these jurors paid for the activities themselves.

I'd settle for the amount it takes to get all my student loans gone and a haircut...

I actually taught english in Korea back in 2005. Great experience, really. If my husband was able to get a job in a non-english speaking country, I would do the ESL thing again, but with professionals as students instead of kindergarteners.

Ireland is definitely on my list of "need to visit" places. I have a friend who just went and her pictures and overall impression is amazing. So jealous.

Oof. I am watching Bachelorette right now (the movie with Kirsten Dunst, et al, not the reality tv show), and it has me cringing so hard. I want to turn it off, it is so anxiety inducing to me. It's not even funny, just sad and wrong. Did everyone else hate it or is it just me?

I only spent 4 days in London 2 years ago, but I loved it! It was a great experience and I could be incredibly happy living there.

That is horrifying. I'm so sorry you had to experience that. I don't know what is wrong with some people, but that behavior is so despicable. I'm glad that at least the homeowners were kind enough to step in and walk you home so you didn't have to be alone. Ugh.

I did the "just after college live abroad" thing, which was lots of fun. This time it would have to be a professional career opportunity, which means my husband has to be the one to get the job (it's much more likely that he would have an opportunity and probably be able to stay with his company, and I'd have to do

Definitely the city at first. We used to live in the Queens Village/Bella Vista area, which I liked, but will consider other neighborhoods. I am not ready to commit to the train schedule to get in/out of the city just yet. I do hear great things about Chestnut Hill, whenever we do make the switch...

I'm sure you will get there someday! It looks beautiful and I'd love to visit, too. I'd eat my way through the country :)

At this point, I'd take living in L.A. over Philly, just because it's new to me. Though I am pretty sure I'd get frustrated with the traffic and having to actually drive places in no time. England would be awesome. I love London, but anywhere there would be fine by me.

I have major wanderlust right now. My husband and I are moving to Philly at the end of the summer (very unexpectedly, too. We moved to NYC last year with the expectation of being here for several years) and I am decided unhappy about it. We lived there already for 4 years and I felt like we were done with the city.

At my little sister's wedding a week ago (20s themed if you wanted, but otherwise semi formal), my uncle wore khaki shorts and a Hawaiian shirt... and took his shoes off during the ceremony. I was appalled, but not surprised. My sis was just happy the shorts were at least khakis (we expected as much from him).
