A few years ago I got a nasty black eye play basketball with some friends and my boyfriend finally said that we couldn't go out together in public until it healed. I hadn't noticed, but people had been glaring at him all day.

Correct, but Whole Foods does have a company standard for what they will sell, which they define as "All Natural". My guess is that their were artificial colorings or that the sweetener was aspartame as opposed to stevia based.
