I agree!

My friend and I went and had ours done last weekend and we both were... not in love with it. When we explained the concept neither of the beauticians had heard of Jezebel so I doubt they’ll see it.

Mine should be coming up in the next couple weeks, I wear makeup almost every day (I take the odd weekend day off because: lazy). I thought I knew a fair amount about makeup but 21 products later, I realized I know NOTHING.

The sixth/seventh grade (so 11-13ish) would have been the year that both I and others started noticing the “changes” and a few things come to mind. None of my initial memories are really that nice:

The ceremony to dispose of a worn out flag happens in Canada too. I spent some time as an Air Cadet and then later as a member of the military (via the Cadet instructor Cadre) and remember the fear of dropping it.

Swallowing my pride and giving up on breastfeeding was the best choice I ended up making. Jesus, it still makes me misty thinking about the

We’ve done that for our kid and I’m into it. I generally give people ideas on what she’s into (or advise that second hand is amazing) in case they insist on buying something, but I don’t really care if someone came to the party without a present.

Not everyone can breastfeed. Sure, it’s “free”, but sometimes it just doesn’t work and there’s a lot of shame surrounding moms who use formula. Please rethink before making comments like this, I know I’m not alone in reading this type of thing and remembering the horrible struggle that trying to breastfeed was, how
